Welcome to the Marina Bay Yacht Club’s Website
Marina Bay Yacht Club is an all volunteer club headquartered in Richmond, California at Marina Bay on the northeasterly edge of San Francisco Bay. For a Day on the Bay: After a short trip down the Harbor Channel and Point Potrero Reach, past historic buildings and rentals on the shore, and break-water home to native water fowl, one finds themselves beautifully placed to enjoy the day. Sail west to Angel Island, Raccoon Strait and the Golden Gate Bridge to the Pacific beyond. To port is Berkeley, Alameda, and the South Bay harbors. To starboard is San Pablo Bay with the great California Delta beyond.
Marina Bay Yacht Club members cruise out several times a year to different locations throughout the San Francisco Bay and Delta region. Depending on conditions, members will sail or power over to a planned destination, while others may arrive by land yacht for a fun evening with fellow members and sailors from all over the greater Bay Area.
Marina Bay Yacht Club (MBYC), belongs to the Pacific Interclub Yacht Association (PICYA). As a PICYA member, MBYC members have reciprocal privileges at many other member clubs and their facilities in the western U.S. and throughout the Pacific Rim.
The Marina Bay Yacht Harbor is probably one of the nicest yacht harbors in Northern California according to the Manchester Travel Guide. Surrounded by new homes, condos, parks, and a nature trail promenade, it is also one of the prettiest.
Salute’s (a first class Italian restaurant), and Amini’s (a great delicatessen), are located near F Dock.
The Yacht Harbor is owned by the City of Richmond, and managed by BayHarbor Management Services, Inc. The berth rates are among the best in the San Francisco Bay Area. You can call the Marina Bay Harbor Manager at 510-236-1013 for more information.
