General Membership Dinner: The Marina Bay Yacht Club has their General Membership dinner on the third Saturday of each month at various locations near the Marina Bay Yacht Harbor (There are occasional exceptions to the third Saturday, so it is best to check the Club Calendar in The Signal for up-to-date information.). Our discussion program and/or General Membership meeting takes place during dessert. Board of Directors: The Board of Directors meet 3:00 p.m. on the same day as the dinner. Membership: We have different classifications: General Membership is $125, pro-rated from January 1 of each year for new members. Our membership fees are less for Non-resident, Cruising Memberships and Associate Membership. There is a one-time initiation fee of $50, to accompany all applications, unless the prospective member is a member in good standing transferring from another PICYA* yacht club. If, for any reason, the application is not accepted, this fee is refunded. Processing (applications) includes posting the prospective member’s name(s) in the Club's monthly newsletter, The Signal, and presenting them, along with their application, to the Board of Directors for a vote during their meeting. Membership Benefits: Belonging to MBYC entitles members to reciprocal privileges with other yacht clubs throughout the Delta and greater Bay Area. This includes guest docking, clubhouse privileges and use of facilities (though not always free). Our membership in PICYA extends this benefit to include most West Coast yacht clubs. Cruising members have enjoyed a warm welcome at clubs throughout Mexico, Central America, the Pacific Rim and at other ports of call around the world. For additional information, please contact one of the MBYC board members (see Club Hotlines). Applications: Click the icon (below) for an application. Interested sailors can copy and complete the Application Form, and mail it to the Club for action. *Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association
